Glass cutters

This presentation begins with three types of vintage glass cutters.

1. The first is typical in its shape (hammer) of French glass cutters. Two particulars on this one, the first steel head and the brass body, those that are most often found have the body and the handle of the same alloy. And the second I find that in addition on this model the handle has been shaped more finely, the separations are more chiselled.
2. The second is typical of the English style (see history). The wooden handle is in rosewood, the guitarists know this wood. In terms of brands, Sharrett & Newth, Radcliffe's and Shaw & Son.
3. The third by its form is typically American. Patent US2283134 by R.C.Barrett. There are also the Fletcher-Terry and Red Devil brands.
